The Mudge Boy

“Duncan Mudge has a secret…”

Fourteen-year-old Duncan Mudge (Emile Hirsch) is burying his mother's pet chicken after her sudden death, trying to fill the quiet she left behind. His father Edgar (Richard Jenkins) barely looks up from the work in front of him, so Duncan turns to the older boys nearby, Perry (Tom Guiry) among them. Michael Burke's film is about a boy who keeps asking for attention from people who have none to give.
