The Mule

“It's what's inside that counts.”

In 1983 Australia, Ray Jenkins (Angus Sampson) is picked up by the Federal Police with lethal narcotics hidden in his stomach. Detective Tom Croft (Hugo Weaving) wants the evidence, and Ray decides the only thing he can do is refuse to let his own body hand it over. Tony Mahony directs a standoff in which the longer Ray holds out, the closer the packages come to killing him.
