Earl Stone (Clint Eastwood), a ninety-year-old Korean War veteran, needs money to save his home and repair his strained family ties. A drug cartel offers him steady work as a courier, driving packages across state lines with his quiet competence and his age as cover. As DEA agents close in, Earl learns that some bridges, once burned, cannot be rebuilt by a single act of redemption.
