U.S. Army Sergeant Nick Morton (Tom Cruise) loots tombs in Iraq until one fights back: an ancient Egyptian princess named Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella), entombed alive for a dark ritual, marks him as her vessel. Kurtzman threads Nick through a curse that accelerates in daylight, with archaeologist Jennifer Halsey (Annabelle Wallis) racing to understand the binding. Everything Nick loves becomes collateral damage if the curse isn't broken.
