The Mummy Returns

(2001)Directed by Stephen Sommers130 min · PG-13Adventure, Action, Fantasy
“Adventure is reborn.”

A gold bracelet found in the sand is said to hold the power of the Scorpion King, and Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), freshly raised from the dead, wants it back. Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn O'Connell (Rachel Weisz) have their young son Alex wearing it before they understand what it is. Stephen Sommers makes a loud family adventure out of a simple idea: the people you love are the first thing a villain reaches for.
