A high priest of Karnak crosses to America with Kharis (Lon Chaney Jr.), a living mummy, to kill everyone who disturbed the tomb of the princess Ananka thirty years ago. Harold Young sets it in Mapleton, Massachusetts, where Stephen Banning (Dick Foran) is now an old man and his son John (John Hubbard) has no idea what is coming for the family. The curse is a debt carried across thirty years and an ocean, and it only comes due when the moon is full.
