The Music Never Stopped

“No matter how lost you are, music can bring you home.”

Henry Sawyer (J.K. Simmons) hasn't spoken to his son Gabriel (Lou Taylor Pucci) in years, and now Gabriel has a brain tumor that keeps him from forming new memories. He is stuck in the beliefs and tastes that drove the two of them apart. Jim Kohlberg, in his first film as director, has Henry reach his son through music, since music is where Gabriel is still himself.
