The Mutilator

“By pick, by axe, by sword, bye bye!”

A boy cleaning his father's hunting rifles for a surprise birthday present fires one by accident, and the shot kills his mother. Years later Ed Jr. (Matt Mitler), now in his teens, brings friends including Pam (Ruth Martinez) to the family's island property for fall break, with no sense of what is waiting there. Buddy Cooper made the film on a small budget, and he puts the violence right up close in the frame.
