“Sometimes life leads you to the most mysterious places.”

Art Bechstein (Jon Foster) has just finished college and wants one summer to belong to himself, away from his gangster father's plans for him. In 1980s Pittsburgh he falls in with Jane (Sienna Miller) and Cleveland (Peter Sarsgaard), and both of them start to matter to him. Rawson Marshall Thurber adapts Michael Chabon's novel and keeps the story close to Art's first summer out on his own.
