The Mystery of the Yellow Room

Joseph Rouletabille (Denis Podalydès) is a young reporter on a local paper who takes up the case of Mathilde Stangerson (Sabine Azéma), shot at in her bedroom with the door locked and the windows barred. When her father breaks in, he finds no one there but her. Bruno Podalydès, adapting Gaston Leroux's 1907 novel, sets a locked room against a crowd of suspects, and the question of how anyone got out is only part of what keeps everyone talking.
