The Naked City

In 1948 New York, a former model is found drowned in her bathtub, and Lieutenant Dan Muldoon (Barry Fitzgerald) takes the case with Detective Jimmy Halloran (Don Taylor). The two work through suspects, friends and one more lead after another, slowly piecing together who she was. Jules Dassin shot almost everything on location in the city's streets and apartments, so the investigation moves through real places.
