Lieutenant Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) takes every case with total seriousness and has no idea how much damage he does along the way. When his partner is shot, he follows the trail to Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban) and a plot against Queen Elizabeth II. David Zucker plays it all straight-faced, and Frank goes on through the wreckage, certain he is doing the job right.
