Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) is a police lieutenant who leaves a trail of wreckage wherever he goes, yet somehow closes cases. He falls for a woman caught in a shadowy plot while his partner Nordberg (O.J. Simpson) recuperates from yet another injury.
