The Navigator: A Medieval Odyssey

“An Odyssey Across Time.”

In Cumberland in 1348, with the plague closing in on their remote village, young Griffin (Hamish McFarlane) describes a dream of a lake, a floating coffin and a white church topped with an iron cross. His older brother Connor (Bruce Lyons) takes it for a prophecy and sets out with a few men to raise that cross on a distant cathedral. Vincent Ward gives the brothers the film's one steady bond, with Connor leading and Griffin trusting him the whole way.
