“It's a brand new beginning in the adventure that never ends.”

Bastian Bux (Jason James Richter) is a boy starting over at a new school, where a gang led by Slip (Jack Black) has already picked him out. They steal the magical book that links Earth to the imaginary world of Fantasia, and it falls to Bastian to get it back. Peter MacDonald sends him after it, with Fantasia itself at risk if the book stays in the wrong hands.
