In this 1971 Hong Kong swordplay film from Shaw Brothers Studio, Lei Li (David Chiang Da-Wei) has lost his right arm in a duel with a martial arts school master. He has since taught himself to fight with the left. His path crosses that of Ba Jiao (Li Ching), a young woman in need of help, and his friend Feng Junjie (Ti Lung) stands beside him as the odds turn impossible. Chang Cheh shoots the fights with a restless, grainy urgency.
