The Newton Boys

“History is about to catch up with America's most successful bank robbers.”

Willis Newton (Matthew McConaughey), a Texas farm boy from Uvalde, wants out of the cotton fields and sees banks as the quickest way to a better life. Richard Linklater follows him and his brothers Joe (Skeet Ulrich), Jess (Ethan Hawke) and Dock (Vincent D'Onofrio), who plan each job carefully and keep the violence low. The film treats the money as a prize that gets chased and spent, and what it asks of a family.
