The Next Skin

A boy who vanished at the age of twelve walks back into his family's life eight years later, after everyone had come to assume he was dead. Ana (Emma Suárez) takes in the young man calling himself Léo (Àlex Monner), while others in the house start to wonder whether he is who he says he is. Isaki Lacuesta and Isa Campo, co-directing, keep their camera close on faces and let the doubt grow in the gaps between what the family asks and what he answers.
