The Next Three Days

“What if you had 72 hours to save everything you live for?”

Lara Brennan (Elizabeth Banks) is arrested for a murder she says she did not commit, and three years into her sentence the final appeal is denied. Her husband John (Russell Crowe), a college teacher raising their young son Luke (Ty Simpkins) alone, has run out of legal ways to bring her home. Paul Haggis follows John as he settles on the only option left, breaking his wife out of prison, a man with no criminal skills and nothing else to try.
