The Night Before the Exams

Luca (Nicolas Vaporidis) wants one thing on his last day of high school: to say what he thinks of Professor Martinelli (Giorgio Faletti), the literature teacher he can't stand. Then he learns Martinelli will chair his final exam board, and the summer of 1989 in Rome becomes a long stretch of studying that goes nowhere. Fausto Brizzi follows Luca into it, where he falls for Claudia (Cristiana Capotondi), a girl he met once at a party, who is Martinelli's daughter.
