Lord Alan Cunningham (Anthony Steffen) is a wealthy, unstable widower who has a habit of luring women who resemble his dead wife into deadly games. After he remarries, a chain of bizarre events begins around his new bride, Gladys (Marina Malfatti). Emilio P. Miraglia shoots this Italian gothic as one long night-sweat, keeping the dread close and the logic loose.
