The Night of the Devils

“Creatures of the Living Dead!”

Nicola (Gianni Garko) is driving through the countryside when his car is damaged, and he goes on foot to find help. The only door that opens belongs to a family living in total fear of a Wurdulak, an evil force that is slowly entering the household. Giorgio Ferroni shoots it in grainy, late-night 1970s textures, so the dread feels worn into the film stock itself.
