The Night of the Following Day
“The Higher the Stakes, The Greater the Terror.”
A girl steps off a plane at a Paris airport and is met by a chauffeur (Marlon Brando) who is not what he seems. Hubert Cornfield follows her and the four-person crew behind the kidnapping to a remote beach house near Le Touquet, where Leer (Richard Boone) runs the ransom plan. The film shows what happens when four people with their own private troubles are shut into a few rooms for days.
