The Nightingale's Prayer

In the upper Egyptian countryside, Amna (Faten Hamama) takes a job in the house of the irrigation engineer (Ahmad Mazhar), the man who destroyed her family's honor. She has come with a plan for revenge, and he does not know who she is. Henry Barakat adapts Taha Hussein's novel, and every day she spends under his roof puts more at risk than the vengeance she came to take.
