The Nile Hilton Incident

In Cairo in January 2011, Noredin (Fares Fares), a police officer, is sent to a luxury hotel where a woman has been found murdered. Tarik Saleh sets the case in the final days before the revolution, with Noredin working through a force that answers to money and rank. The story shows how corruption in Egyptian policing shields powerful people from the questions an investigation is supposed to ask.
