The Northman

“Conquer your fate.”

Amleth (Alexander Skarsgård) was a boy on the edge of manhood when his uncle Fjölnir (Claes Bang) killed his father, King Aurvandil (Ethan Hawke), and carried off his mother, Queen Gudrún (Nicole Kidman). Twenty years later he is a Viking raider, and the vow he made as a child has never left him. Robert Eggers follows him toward Fjölnir with a single purpose, and Amleth lets nothing, not even his own safety, stand between him and it.
