“No nuts, no glory.”

Surly (Will Arnett), a loner squirrel who looks out only for himself, gets thrown out of his park and has to make it alone in the city. Winter is coming for the park's animals, and he finds Maury's Nut Store, which could feed them all. Peter Lepeniotis sets Surly against the park's other squirrels, Grayson (Brendan Fraser) and Andie (Katherine Heigl), who need his help and trust him very little.
