“The joy of the New York City Ballet in an exciting family holiday motion picture.”

Marie, a little girl on Christmas Eve, wants nothing more than to stay inside the night she has fallen asleep into. In her dream the toys grow larger than life, and the Nutcracker Prince (Macaulay Culkin) leads her toward his kingdom, defending her from the Mouse King. Emile Ardolino films George Balanchine's ballet with the New York City Ballet, and Kevin Kline's voice carries us through the dream.
