The Nutcracker

(2010)Directed by Andrei Konchalovsky108 min · PGAdventure, Fantasy, Family
“Experience the Holiday Classic as You've Never Seen it Before”

It is Christmas Eve in 1920s Vienna, and young Mary (Elle Fanning) and her brother are waiting on their eccentric Uncle Albert (Nathan Lane). He arrives with a wooden nutcracker, which comes to life and carries her off to a fantasy kingdom under threat from the Rat King (John Turturro). Andrei Konchalovsky sets the ballet's story to Tchaikovsky's music, and Mary has to find out how much courage she has.
