The Nutty Professor

“Inside Sherman Klump, a party animal is about to break out.”

Dr. Sherman Klump (Eddie Murphy), a 400-pound genetics professor, can't stop thinking about Carla Purty (Jada Pinkett Smith), the new member of the faculty. Then a serum he made to shrink fat cells produces a fast-talking, pumped-up stranger named Buddy Love, and Sherman has no idea what he has done. Tom Shadyac builds the film around Murphy playing nearly the entire Klump family at the dinner table.
