The Object of My Affection

Nina Borowski (Jennifer Aniston), a New York social worker, finds herself pregnant by a boyfriend she no longer wants and decides she would rather raise the baby with her gay roommate George Hanson (Paul Rudd). Nicholas Hytner follows the two of them through the loud objections of the boyfriend, Vince McBride (John Pankow). The question underneath is whether loving someone closely can make up for the fact that they can't love you back in the same way.
