The Odyssey

Jacques-Yves Cousteau (Lambert Wilson) is a naval officer who wants to see what lies beneath the surface of the sea, and he sets out to film it. His wife, Simone (Audrey Tautou), and his sons, Jean-Michel and Philippe (Pierre Niney), are pulled onto the Calypso and into thirty years of expeditions. Jérôme Salle follows the family across those decades, from the early dives to the voyages that made Cousteau famous.
