“READY! SET! LAUGH! Join the fun in a nut-house of terror!”

A series of fatal occurrences keeps striking the Femm family inside their secluded mansion, and no one in the house will explain them. Tom Penderel (Tom Poston), an American car salesman in London, gets pulled in among them, and William Castle plays the dread as dry comedy, with Charles Addams drawing the opening titles. Tom's only real company there is Cecily (Janette Scott), the one Femm who seems as lost in the place as he is.
