The Old Guard

“Forever is harder than it looks.”

Andy (Charlize Theron) and her small crew of mercenaries have been fighting and not dying for centuries, taking jobs quietly and staying out of the record. Then a pharmaceutical company starts hunting them for what is in their blood, and a young Marine, Nile Freeman (KiKi Layne), wakes up unable to die. Gina Prince-Bythewood builds the film around a hard question, which is what centuries of survival do to people who keep burying everyone else.
