It is 1973, and Egon Olsen (Ove Sprogøe) walks out of Vridsløse State Prison once again with a fresh plan. Benny (Morten Grunwald) and Kjeld (Poul Bundgaard) want no part of it, because they now work in a shop, and Erik Balling gives the two of them a full day's honest labor. Egon turns to the money of an international gangster instead, the plan already dressed in his hat.
