The Omen

“You have been warned. If something frightening happens to you today, think about it. It may be The Omen.”

The night his wife loses their newborn, US diplomat Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck) agrees to adopt another child, Damien (Harvey Stephens), and tells no one. Richard Donner follows the Thorns as the boy grows, with Katherine (Lee Remick) at home and a run of strange deaths gathering close around them. The film is about a father who hides one decision from his wife, and the family that grows around it.
