Simone Signoret (Marina Foïs) and Yves Montand (Roschdy Zem) are cinema's golden couple until his affair with Marilyn Monroe fractures their bond. She refuses to play the wounded wife, watching him through the years as other women follow, choosing to stay beside him anyway.
