The Organization

“One honest cop has the guts to take on "The Organization."”

Somebody has walked into a company's corporate headquarters and taken $5,000,000 worth of heroin, and the thieves are young revolutionaries who want it kept off the street. They bring their story to San Francisco Police Lieutenant Virgil Tibbs (Sidney Poitier). Don Medford puts Tibbs and his wife Valerie (Barbara McNair) in the middle of it, the lieutenant caught between the law he serves and the people he has to find.
