The Orphanage

“A tale of love. A story of horror.”

Simón, the adopted son of Laura (Belén Rueda), starts talking to a new friend nobody else can see, not long after the family moves into the old orphanage she grew up in. Laura and her husband Carlos (Fernando Cayo) mean to reopen the house for disabled children, but after an argument with the boy, Simón is gone. J. A. Bayona leaves Laura alone in the big house, searching its rooms while the voices of the orphans she once knew seem to follow her.
