The Other Sister

“A love story for the romantically challenged.”

Carla Tate (Juliette Lewis) comes home to her wealthy family's house in San Francisco after years at a special school, and the family wants her to stay close. Garry Marshall follows her as she takes an apartment of her own and starts classes at a college, where she meets Daniel McMann (Giovanni Ribisi). Her mother, Elizabeth (Diane Keaton), holds on to Carla tightly, and Carla has to push back against the very person who raised her.
