The Other Woman

The evening begins at a dinner table, where Daniel (Daniel Auteuil) and his wife Isabelle (Sandrine Kiberlain) are hosting their old friend Patrick (Gérard Depardieu) and his new girlfriend, Emma (Adriana Ugarte). Patrick has just left his wife, who was their best friend, for a woman far younger than he is. Auteuil directs himself as a man whose doubts about the guest vanish when she walks in, and whose marriage is now what he stands to lose.
