The Out-of-Towners

“When they take you for an out-of-towner, they really take you.”

In 1970, George Kellerman (Jack Lemmon), a sales executive from suburban Ohio, flies to New York City for a job interview, with his wife Gwen (Sandy Dennis) along for the trip. The plan is simple: land, check in, and show up on time. Arthur Hiller, working from a Neil Simon script, keeps the Kellermans moving and never lets the city give them a minute to sit down.
