The Outsider

Why would a yakuza clan in post-war Osaka take in Nick Lowell (Jared Leto), a former American G.I. with a prison release behind him and no one on his side? Martin Zandvliet follows him into the family, where the quiet Kiyoshi (Tadanobu Asano) is the one man who gives him a place. The bond between the two is built slowly, in what each leaves unsaid.
