The Owl and the Pussycat

(1970)Directed by Herbert Ross95 min · PGComedy, Romance
“It's no longer a story for children.”

Felix (George Segal) reports his neighbor Doris (Barbra Streisand) to the landlord for the gentlemen callers she receives, and she answers by moving into his apartment. Herbert Ross sets the two of them loose in the same few rooms, where his typing keeps her awake and her talk keeps him on edge. Felix is a meek, owlish would-be writer, and Doris is loud and quick-tongued, not about to let him win an argument.
