“Welcome to the infantry.”

A government scientist is dead, and whatever he built is still hidden somewhere inside his family's house. Navy SEAL Shane Wolfe (Vin Diesel) gets the job of guarding the five Plummer kids, which means moving in under the eye of their mother, Julie (Faith Ford), and a house full of teenagers and toddlers. Adam Shankman stages it as a comedy with a few action beats, putting a man trained for combat in the middle of a family.
