The Painted Hills

“PACKED WITH THRILLS!”

After years of prospecting, Jonathan Harvey (Paul Kelly) finally strikes gold and carries the news back to town. He finds that his old partner has died, leaving a boy, Tommy Blake (Gary Gray), without a father, so he leaves his dog Shep with Tommy to keep the boy company. Harold F. Kress made the last of MGM's Lassie films about loyalty, to a friend and to a dog, set against a partner's greed.
