The Painting

“Break on through to the other side.”

Claire (Chloé Berthier) lives inside an unfinished painting, in a world where the fully colored figures look down on the half-painted and the barely sketched. She wants the painter who made them to come back and complete the work. Jean-François Laguionie sends her out of the canvas with two companions in search of him, and what they carry with them is the belief that nobody should be left a sketch.
