The Pale Blue Eye
“Every heart tells a tale.”
Augustus Landor (Christian Bale) is a former New York constable, worn down and living alone near West Point in 1830, when the academy calls him in over a dead cadet. The boy was found hanged, his heart cut out of his chest. Scott Cooper puts Landor beside a strange, watchful young cadet named Edgar Allan Poe (Harry Melling), and the two men begin to lean on each other in the cold.
