The Parent Trap

“Caught in a merry marital mix-up!”

Susan Evers and Sharon McKendrick (both Hayley Mills) are twelve-year-old twins who meet for the first time at a summer camp, one raised by her father and the other by her mother. Once they work out that their parents, Mitch (Brian Keith) and Maggie (Maureen O'Hara), split them up at birth, they swap places and set about getting the two back together. David Swift builds the film around Mills, who plays both girls.
