The Party

“If you've ever been to a wilder party... you're under arrest!”

In 1968 Hollywood, a producer's lavish dinner party has one guest nobody meant to invite. Hrundi V. Bakshi (Peter Sellers), an accident-prone actor from India, lands on the list by a clerical slip, and from the moment he arrives, things start going wrong. Blake Edwards builds the night from loose set pieces, and Hrundi's small mistakes pile into bigger ones, a stranger's good manners treated as a threat to the room.
