The Path of Excellence

Sophie Vasseur (Suzanne Jouannet) is a brilliant student who wants to get into the Polytechnique, and her maths teacher pushes her to try. She leaves the family farm for a science preparatory class, where Diane Le Goff (Marie Colomb) and the other students compete fiercely and Sophie finds the entrance exam is only part of the climb. Frédéric Mermoud keeps his camera close on Sophie as the pressure builds.
